Search for Public Records

There are several ways to use a people finder in the United States. The most common is to use a traditional search engine and hope to turn up relevant information that you can then piece together. More often than not, however, the returns from a search engine will be vague, irrelevant, outdated, or even incorrect.

Public records also exist and you might try local records if you are near the right governmental offices. There, too, problems arise. The time spent looking, and possibly traveling to these records could be counter-productive. Alternatively, you could hire a researcher, or if need be, a detective, but the cost involved will be high.
